The African prince is the son of the African chief.
He doesn't like little Jack at first, but after they're stopped by the African chief when they're about to fight it out, the prince starts laughing and befriends Jack. They do a lot together, like brothers, like riding animals and the prince let Jack see their ways of living, and the ways of the animals living in Africa. The African prince was captured along with his father and the rest of his tribe by an enemy tribe, who are on Aku's side, and was searching for Jack. They're heard saying that Aku had promised them a reward for the capture of Jack.
Jack rescued him and his tribe, and the episode ends with Jack and the prince take a fondly farewell as Jack is ready to continue his training somewhere else. Jack's training in Africa is complete.
