The Angry Mob is a group of townspeople that chased Jack around town, mistaking him for a cat burglar due to him wearing a burglar outfit, the taxi offers him a ride escaping from all the angry citizens.
They resume chasing Jack after he jumped from the taxi and pursued him into a theater's dressing room. As the mob demanded Jack to open the door, Jack steps out disguised as an actress portraying the Princess of Hearts. The mob quickly apologizes to the "lady" and asked if "she" seen the burglar, to which Jack answers no, and the mob raced out of the studio to find the burglar.
