Anguish is one of the many forms of Inner Jack and a minor character in Season 5 of Samurai Jack.

Biography

In Episode XCIII, Anguish came to Jack when he was hiding from the Daughters of Aku. Anguish was constantly telling Jack to give up and trying to convince him to commit seppuku, in which the Omen appeared to Jack and Jack told Anguish to be quiet.

In Episode XCVIII, Jack defeated Mad Jack and sealed away all the negative personalities including Anguish.

  • Many fans confused Mad Jack and Anguish to be the same person, however this was false as Mad Jack [Jack's] own inner hatred and Anguish represents weariness and loss of hope.
  • Anguish was the first form of Inner Jack to appear in Season 5.
