Episode C is the ninth episode of the fifth and final season, and also the sixty-first and penultimate episode of the Samurai Jack show. It aired on May 13th, 2017. While the fifth season episodes are untitled, this episode can be unofficially titled Jack and Ashi Find Aku.
Premise
Samurai Jack's worst fear is realized when he faces off against Aku; the demon makes a shocking discovery about Ashi that puts her in grave danger.
Plot
The episode picks up immediately where XCIX left off. Ashi and Jack quickly realize they are kissing and stop, nervous and mildly disgusted from Lazarus 92's venom. Ashi offers Jack his gi, but he insists that she keep it until she finds new clothes, claiming the ship is drafty. Soon, they spot a hole in the ceiling leading outside. Ashi searches for something to wear while Jack heads back outside, finding a broken water pipe. After Ashi finds a large sweater and boots in a locker room, she comes across Jack showering outside and kindly leaves him his gi. In private, however, Jack sees a bearded reflection of himself, warning him to be careful. Jack himself agrees, since this has never happened to him before and wonders what to do. That evening, after hunting some worms for dinner, the two awkwardly try to make small talk. Ashi asks Jack if he ever thinks about his home, and Jack answers that he does so all the time, opening up to her with the memories of his home throughout the seasons. When Ashi asks if there was a girl in his life, Jack explains there wasn't time, since he was only 8 when Aku returned. While Jack admits the time before Aku was nice, the memories of his home are the only way he will see it again. The next morning, a distraught Ashi wakes up to find that Jack has left her again.
Meanwhile, an overjoyed Scaramouche finally arrives at Aku's lair on top of an octopus. He spots Aku in the distance, only to find it's actually a speaker-box in the demon's likeness that refuses to hear him out and ordering him to leave. Still persistent, Scaramouche simply finds another way into Aku's lair and demands to speak with him. When Aku reluctantly agrees, Scaramouche wonders if Aku can hear through his antlers before finally confirming the status of Jack's sword. Rejoicing at the revelation, Aku restores Scaramouche's body and dances along with him in celebration.

Initially outclassed by the transformed Ashi's new abilities, Jack manages to break Ashi's sword and cut her arm, briefly getting through to her. Ashi begs Jack to kill her and stop Aku, but he can't bring himself to do so and stands down. Before Ashi can finish Jack, Aku orders his daughter to stop, joyfully claiming the Samurai's sword as Jack admits defeat.

Trivia
- This episode confirms that Aku has indeed destroyed all time portals in the world and The Guardian as well.
- This episode reveals that Ashi and her sisters are in fact the literal daughters of Aku--before that, many fans simply assumed that "Daughters of Aku" was just a figurative title given to Ashi and her sisters by their mother and the rest of the Cult of Aku.
- This is the first time in the series that Jack has surrendered to Aku.
- This episode marks Scaramouche's last appearance as he is destroyed by Aku.
- This episode reveals that Jack was eight years old when Aku destroyed his land.
- The episode is also the first to not show any previews for the final episode. Instead, it shows clips of all the previous episodes for the final preview.
- Scaramouch's first appearance led to him losing his body to Jack, but here (in his last appearance) he loses his head to Aku.
