Jack's mother; pregnant with the future hero begs her husband not to go but he must in order to defend the land. Leading a small army they ride out to the pit's heart. When they approach, the evil in the pit seams to sense their presence. The men are stopped except for the Emperor. He fires the magic formula arrow into the evil, but instead of being destroyed, the evil takes shape into a huge figure. Aku is born. The Emperor tries to slice him but Aku heals and his sword melts. Aku then traps the Emperor to a tree and heads to the kingdom to destroy it. The Emperor can only shout and watch in horror. |

"Episode XXXVII: The Birth of Evil, Part 1" is the thirty-seventh episode in the third season of Samurai Jack. This two part episode tells the story of how Aku came to Earth, and battled against Jack's father.
Synopsis
