The Lebidopterins are a moth-like alien race that lives on the planet Chrystallis. They reside in floating cities above the clouds with plant and fungus-like structures making up their homes. The species possesses the ability to fly, but in higher gravity planets such as Earth they are unable to take flight.
The Lebidopterins have a home defense force known as the city guard, who use raygun-like weapons and turrets to defend themselves and their royal family, as well as an interstellar spaceship navy.
Lebidopterins are named after the insect family Lepidoptera, which includes moths and butterflies.
