The Mist Demons(also known as Screeching Ghosts or Screaming Spirits) were evil spirits that haunted the mist surrounding the citadel of Aku presumably guarding it from trespassers they only appear in Episode I: The Beginning trying to prevent jack from reaching Aku's tower but were unsuccessful.
