Character Outline

Synopsis

Trivia

  • Speculation exists that the monks were in fact the three gods Odin, Ra and Vishnu, who came to Jack in order to remind him of his duty and set him back on his path. Given the mysterious nature of the monks, not to mention that they used element of wind to blow of Jack's straw hat in order to bring him to them, the awareness of Jack's doubt of his duty and their appearance in his vision when he passed out, rebuking him and showing the suffering of his people under Aku's tyranny and then never to be seen again, the speculation is not far-fetched after all.
  • It should be noted that when Jack's father met the three gods for the first time, they at first appear before him as monks.
  • It is possible that the gods are watching over Jack. In Jack and the Lava Monster, the gods of Asgard, including Odin, and the warrior that Jack have freed from Aku's curse can be seen watching over him. There are possibility Jack are intented to destroy Aku in the future instead in the past, given his constant failure to return to his own time. In Jack in Egypt, the god Ra, after destroying the three minions of Set, were being questioned by Jack about time portals. He then flies of without answering Jack, prompting Jack to said, "Perhaps not."
