Samurai Jack Wiki

Ringo is a character who first appeared in Episode IX: Jack Under the Sea as a member of a race of aliens called Triseraquins in an underwater city called Oceanus.

Biography[]

Ringo greets Jack alongside Guinness and Connery upon reaching Oceanus, congratulating him on surviving his journey. They all then invite Jack to eat a sushi dinner with them while Guinness tells Jack about their origins. They once lived on the surface of the water trading with locals on the mainland before Aku came and banished their city to the bottom of the ocean. When Jack asks about their time machine, Ringo and the others confirm they have built one and will take Jack to it tomorrow. Guinness and Ringo take Jack to pod on a Jelly-Whale where Ringo silently instructs Jack to place his hands and feet on the indicated spots. The time machine is then revealed to be a bubble prison the Triseraquins built to trap Jack so they can turn him over to Aku end Oceanus' underwater banishment.

When Aku reneges on the deal the Triseraquins launch an all-out attack on Aku in revenge but Aku easily decimates their forces and destroys Oceanus while Jack slowly drowns. Ringo then moves to escape with Guinness, Connery, and Jack inside a Jelly-Whale after rescuing Jack from the bubble prison while Aku pursues them. Jack tells them to turn around so he can defeat Aku with Ringo calling him crazy for suggesting it. But the three of them eventually do turn around and launch Jack at Aku. Jack pierces Aku with his sword causing the demon to retreat while they congratulate Jack on it and Oceanus to momentarily rise to the surface. After admiring the view the three of them apologize for betraying Jack and Jack forgives them while getting them to admit the tale of them having a time machine was a hoax. Before leaving the Triseraquins give Jack a bag filled with sushi as a thank you for all Jack did for them.

Fifty Years Later[]

After witnessing the broadcast from Aku telling of Samurai Jack's capture, Ringo and several other Triseraquins came to Jack's aid wielding trident blasters atop Jelly-Whales and join the combined assault on Aku's fortress. Although not confirmed, Ringo was likely killed after being knocked off his Jelly-Whale by Aku’s corrupted forces or when Aku unleashed a hailstorm of spikes upon Jack's allies.

After Aku's destruction in the past at the hands of Jack in Episode CI, it is unknown how this will affect Ringo's existence.
