As a black women when I first heard his voice as Jack. Since I grew up watching the show when it first aired. Especially with the Japanese accent I thought it was a Japanese person doing the character. He really does have good range doing different accents in cartoons and I love his cameo in Big Time Rush as the villain Hawk!
I can't see no one playing Jack but him. Phil really broke awesome barriers with this character. I guess this is what inspire Anime to show different cultures and of course black characters in anime.
