The Gentleman was stated by a local barber to be a "Nice fellow, but deadly". He was a bounty hunter who killed many people in the past, and eventually came after Jack. Despite the job he does, he is, in fact, a very calm and classy individual who speaks quite eloquently using big words and phrases, which were shown to confuse those less intelligent around him (such as Boris, another bounty hunter). He was also a man of his word and had a respect towards his fellow bounty hunters. His weapons of choice were a pair of knives, and his own cloak. He catches his "prey" by challenging them to a duel. His tactic involved throwing his cloak towards his opponents, confusing them and blocking their view of the Gentleman. Then throwing his knives through the cloak, which were meant to deliver the death blow to the target.

The Gentleman arrived at a small cottage to the north, in order to kill Jack. There he met several other bounty hunters, including Princess Mira. After describing his tactic to kill Jack to everyone, the Gentleman was informed by Mira that his tactic would never work against someone as skillful as Jack. At that point, he joins forces with the other bounty hunters, as they attempt to destroy Jack together. The plan was for them to ambush Jack as he's walking down a snowy path. The Gentleman did his part, throwing his cloak and knives at Jack like he did against all his previous opponents. Jack, however, dodged the knives and the cloak with hardly any effort and killed the Gentleman with a quick slash of his sword.

Gentleman

The Gentleman is an American bounty hunter who appears in Episode XLIV: The Princess and the Bounty Hunters

Character outline

The Gentleman, known only by his nickname, is stated by a local barber to be a "Nice fellow, but deadly". He is a bounty hunter who purportedly murdered many people in the past, and who eventually takes the challenge of killing Jack. Despite his violent career, he is in fact a very calm and eloquent individual who speaks with verbosity (that is, he uses long and complex words and phrases in his everyday speech), which is shown to confuse those around him of less intelligence, such as Boris. He is also a deeply loyal man of his word, and maintains a clear respect for his fellow bounty hunters.

His weapons of choice are simple: a pair of knives and his own cloak. He catches his "prey" by challenging them to a fair duel - hence his name - which he usually wins within seconds. In the unlikely event that he is matched in skill, his tactic is to throw the cloak towards his opponent, confusing them and blocking their view of the Gentleman, before throwing his knives through the cloak, which are meant to deliver a quick finishing blow to the target.

It is strongly insinuated that he was killed by Jack in Princess Mira's bounty hunter ambush.
