The past
At the time when Jack was in the past before clashing with Aku, earth had a wonderful physical structure, later being damaged by Aku and his minions. Jack intend to find a way to get back to his home.
When Jack returned to the past and destroyed Aku for good, the world was saved from his tyranny. This extended to the future as well since there were no Aku to turn it bleak. However, without the influx of alien to come to Earth, human in the new future will have to make a long centuries to reach the scientific achievement to contact the alien and match the advanced technology in Aku's future.
Since Jack has utilized advanced technology for 50 years in the future, it is unknown if he tries to apply his own knowledge in the past or not.
