Valyries
The Valkyries are a group of female warriors in Norse mythology who bring those that have fallen in battle to Valhalla.
After Jack defeated The Lava Monster and freed him of his curse, he died of old age. His soul was taken by the Valkyries to Valhalla.
Trivia[]
- Their role of escorting spirits of the deceased is similar to the angels in Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam).
- In the second season of "Primal", a trio of Valkyries appear to take the Viking Chieftain to Valhalla. Though they look nothing like the ones that appeared in Samurai Jack and don't ride horses either.
